Crop Desiccation adds a new desiccant product and a realistic pre-harvest management system to Farming Simulator 25.
The desiccant can be purchased alongside herbicide and used in compatible liquid sprayers. Its price is 20% higher than standard herbicide.
Supported crops: soybean, green bean, wheat, barley, sunflower, canola, cotton, rice, long-grain rice, corn and sorghum.
Timing directly affects yield. Applying during either of the final two growth stages before ripening preserves 100% yield. Applying one, two or three stages too early reduces yield to 75%, 50% or 25%. A very early application may destroy the entire crop.
The drying time can be set to 1, 30, 60 or 120 minutes in the game settings. The timer can use real time or follow the current in-game time scale. Active treatments are stored with the savegame and synchronized by the server in multiplayer, including for players who join later. Field information indicates the correct application time, estimated loss and drying time remaining.
